Now that Ashton is two, we decided to move him into Wyatt’s room and move Logan into his own big kid room. Logan now has a “locker room” that will hopefully last until he goes to college.

Emy Lost Her First Tooth

March 16th, 2008

Emy’s Missing Tooth
Emy was so excited to finally lose her first tooth. She got a dollar from the tooth fairy, but Daddy wrote a note to the tooth fairy asking that she could keep the tooth to bring to show and tell at school.

Ashton turned two years old on March 7, and we celebrated as a family. We all enjoyed cupcakes (except Curtis who is on a drop-40-pounds-in-a-month diet). Wyatt, Emy and Logan helped wrap Ashton’s present, then colored and stamped the white paper in their own festive way. Ashton’s gift from mommy and daddy was a four-wheeled scooter that he can now use to try to keep up with the big kids.

logansfirstpackmeeting.jpgLogan had is first pack meeting and received his bobcat patch. He is very excited about scouts and wants to work on it everyday. Mom has told him that Uncles Ben, Philip and Jeff and Daddy are all Eagle Scouts so he has a legacy to live up to. So far so good.

First Day of School

Emy’s First Day of Kindergarten

Logan and Emy are shown waiting at the bus stop on the first day of school. Logan wanted to sit in the back of the bus with his buddies, but he was very nice to sit up front with Emy. The kindergarteners are supposed to sit in the front of the bus, and Emy was nervous and wanted to sit with her big brother. Logan patiently sat with her for several weeks, and now Emy is comfortable sitting with her new friends.

“Froggy Went A Courtin’”

October 28th, 2007

loganandfroggy.jpgemyandfroggy.jpgWhen we first moved into our new house the kids would go “frog hunting” the minute they woke up in the morning and through out the day. The swimming pool was an adopted home for these guys. There were several small and medium-sized frogs, but this guy was the biggest and most elusive catch. The pool is closed up for the winter so we’re not quite sure what the frogs will do, but I’m sure we’ll see them next summer.

In honor of Father’s Day, I wanted to post these two pictures that we took when we visited Utah last week. I think they are adorable and capture the essence of Grandpa Elliott and Grandpa Jerry.

Logan’s Baptism

June 15th, 2007

familybaptism3.jpgdoublebaptism1.jpg
We went to Utah for Logan’s baptism so that we could celebrate the occasion with family. We participated in our old stake’s monthly baptism, and ended up having Logan’s cousin, (2nd or once removed or something like that) Andrew Green baptized at the same time. It was a fun and memorable day.
